Our family lost our beautiful abuela Mama Sara unexpectedly to pancreatic cancer in 2012. Within weeks of her diagnosis our lives were forever changed. We hope that by participating in the LA Cancer Challenge we can honor our Mama Sara and help the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer. 

We'd love for you to join our team (either in-person at UCLA or virtually from wherever you are!) for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease.
