Welcome to My Personal Page
I'm thrilled to be riding in the 11th annual Tour de Pier! I’m grateful for those riding next to me for this cause. On Sunday May 21, 2023 I will be riding for my sister and mom who both passed away from cancer. Lisa was my oldest sister who was full of fun. She loved sports, especially her alma mater USC. She took me to plenty of USC football games, concerts and lots of cool places to shop. She had a big personality and an even bigger heart.
My mom had a special warmth, kindness and a contagious smile. She was an amazing cook but an even better baker. As a child all the neighbors loved coming over to snack on her homemade chocolate chip cookies. I miss both of them every single day! I’ll be holding my family tight as we ALL ride for ‘Auntie Lisa’ and ‘Ama’ remembering them and all our memories together!
Tour de Pier brings together hundreds of stationary bikes to the Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, the Cancer Support Community and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
Our family is inspired each and every year as we gather with friends and our community supporting a GREAT CAUSE and a truly AMAZING event!
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
