Our family lost our beautiful abuela Mama Sara unexpectedly to pancreatic cancer in 2012. Within a matter of weeks our lives were forever changed and we hope no other family has to go through this feeling of losing a loved one to cancer. So we honor our abuela by every year participating in the LA Cancer Challenge that helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer. 

We'd love for you to join our team (either in-person at UCLA or virtually from wherever you are!) for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease.
