Team GWEKOS proudly joins the L. A. Cancer Challenge on Sunday, October 22, 2023!

The LACC 5K raises funds administered by The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. 

Your generous donation supports seed grants for top researchers whose work leads to new, better treatment options. The cure for pancreatic, and other forms of cancer, is imaginable thanks to your support over the years, THANK YOU!!

The Hirshberg Foundation also provides supportive services for patients and their families.

Together, we ARE making a real difference!

Despite the seriousness of pancreatic cancer, this community gathering is a joyful and FESTIVE EVENT! Many attendees run or walk in HALLOWEEN costumes. There are healthy and sweet treats, and lots of fun activities for young and old!

We encourage you to walk together with team GWEKOS in person, or virtually from wherever you are that day! 

The Geske, Winston, Kayton and Serber families participate to honor husband/father/grandfather, Howard Kayton's memory. 

We also acknowledge the countless others gone too soon from pancreatic and other cancers; and salute the courage of those currently fighting for their lives.
