I'm participating in the LA Cancer Challenge 5K Run/Walk! The LACC helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

For me, each year I run this wonderful event in honor of a dear friend: Heather. Heather was a beloved member of AREC running club in Long Beach. She was a cherished friend; a magnificent Mother; and an exceptional, loving Human Being.
