Never Give Up Fighting For The Cure!

Brett & I at the 2017 LACC
Each year I sit down to write this letter and walk away. I've been trying for weeks but something stops me. I can give you a list of excuses but the truth is it's painful. My father Norm and granpa Dave both lost their lives to a cancer that will take the lives of over 50,500 people this year alone. While I may resist, I refuse to let the discomfort stop me from completing my task because I want to break the cycle before pancreatic cancer takes another family member or friend. That's why on October 22nd I'll be taking part in the Hirschberg Foundation's 26th Annual L.a. Cancer Challenge 5k walk/run.
Due to The Hirshberg Foundation's dedication to advancing pancreatic cancer research and providing resources and support to patients and their families, researchers are helping to extend the life expenctancy of those diagnosed. However, in order to continue on the path to finding long term treatments and hopefully a cure, we need to help raise funds to advance these studies.
Please join me and the Carabet's Crew team on Sunday, October 22nd at UCLA as we walk to support the cause. If you're unable to join me, please consider donating by clicking on the link below.
Thank you very much for your support.
Sincerely,
Leslie Nelson
P.S. This is a team link so no worry as to which team member to donate under!
