THE HARD FACTS:

·       Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths after lung and colon cancer. By 2030 it will be the second.

·       The worst survival rate. Survival estimates show that 3-6% of people affected live 5 years. Many survive only one month to a year.

·       95% of patients are diagnosed at Stage IV, when the disease has spread.

·       The incidence of pancreatic cancer in the U.S. is higher for Blacks than in any other racial group.
