On September 27, 2017, my mom died of pancreatic cancer. Her cancer was so unexpected, I can't quite describe how shocked we were at her diagnosis. 

It has been five years since her death and the survival rate for pancreatic cancer is still extraordinarily low. So on March 19, 2023 I will be running in the LA Marathon as a part of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Research's Training Team. 

I have committed to raise at least $1,000. But I'd love to raise $10,000. No one should have to suffer like my mom did. I hope you will come along on this journey with me and, if you can, donate in honor of my mom. Every dollar is a dollar closer to a cure.
