Please support me in the LA Cancer Challenge!
A few days after turning 17 I lost my mother, Sara, to pancreatic cancer. Ever since then, I wanted to do something to honor her. As I am coming up to my 40th birthday, which is the age that she had me, I decided to (among other things) complete this challenge. I have never been very athletic and even walking a mile was a journey for me. Now, however, I feel I am the healthiest I have ever been and I am ready for this 5K to honor her memory. Any support given would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I'm participating in the LA Cancer Challenge! The LACC helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me, in-person or virtually, for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together, regardless of where we are, we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer.
