Please support me in the LA Cancer Challenge!
My dad, Joe, passed away from Pancreatic cancer in April 2022. He made it 14 months after his diagnosis and put up one hell of a fight.
My dad was an artist, an avid Cubs fan, a singer of all things David Byrne, a Star Trek fanatic, and a proud Irishman. He loved nothing more than his family. He took his diagnosis with great humility, expressing a strong gratitude for life, and deeply inspired those around him. He deserved a better shot, but he didn't throw away the one he had.
Dad benefited from organizations like this one, including getting the best chemo he could get. His chemo really gave him a new life, even if only for a few months. Without it, he would not have lasted as long as he did. So if the Hirshberg Foundation can help patients the way my dad was helped, I hope you'll join me in passing that good fortune on.
The LACC helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me, in-person or virtually, for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together, regardless of where we are, we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer.
