Fighting Pancreatic Cancer One Step At a Time.

It's hard to believe 15 months have passed since I lost my Father to pancreatic cancer. it feels like yesterday our family was together, sitting on the back of his boat, relaxing, talking, laughing and watching people sail by. Yet at the same time it feels like a lifetime ago....
While many people would avoid any reminder of what robbed them of their loved one, I embrace what hopefully in the future will help prevent others from having to go through the same experience.
That's why I'm more determined than ever to participate in the 24th Annual L.A. Cancer Challenge. Last year we participated virtually due to Covid. This year Hirshberg Foundation is offering people the opportunity to participate in person or virtually. For me, I need to walk surrounded by the community that supported my Father and our family and friends during our 4 1/2 year journey.
Hirshberg Foundation's unwavering commitment to advancing pancreatic cancer research while providing support to patients and families gives me hope that one day there won't be a need for the L.A. Cancer Challenge. Until that time, I'll walk with them one step at a time.
Please join me Sunday, October 31st at UCLA as we walk to support Hirshberg Foundations efforts. If you're unable to join me, please consider donating by clicking on the link below.
Thank you very much for your support!
Sincerely,
Leslie
