Join Me for the LA Cancer Challenge!

Hi All!
Thank you for visiting my LA Cancer Challenge page! This year's event will be virtual, rather than at UCLA, because of COVID-19 restrictions. We'd LOVE for you to join our "virtual team” #CrushCancer for this year's race on Sunday, October 25th
As many of you may know, I lost my wonderful father, John McGee in December 2015, just five months after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. This disease is particularly cruel because by the time a patient has symptoms, the disease has generally already progressed to an advanced Stage (3 or 4). Money raised through the LA Cancer Challenge helps fund research, grants and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find an early detection method and a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Even if our team can't be physically together for this year's race, please feel free to choose a nearby park or walking path, use a treadmill or stay in your neighborhood to stroll, speed-walk or jog your own 5K course. If you'd prefer to donate rather than join our virtually, we absolutely appreciate your support.
Together we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer. Cheers to crushing cancer!
Thank you!
Deb
