Thank you for visiting my page.
I'll be joining my colleagues at AT&T May 19 to ride bikes on the Manhattan Beach Pier and raise money for cancer research/support charities.
This is a special event for me. As I ride, I'll be thinking of my friend Mike Botte, who lost his battle to cancer in 2011. Mike was instrumental in my family's decision to move to California. Mike loved California beaches and cycling. His memorial service was held on the beach right next to the Manhattan Beach Pier.
A little about the event - The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
Please consider contributing a tax-deductible donation towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease.
Thank you for supporting me on my ride!
