Welcome to My Personal Page
On May 19th, I'll be riding in place to move charity forward in Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
I have been very proud to ride as a part of Team Pk for the past 5 years and am honored to be part of his team again this year. I ride for my father who is a cancer survivor, and I ride in honor of my mother who was a survivor of breast cancer, but passed away just 6 months ago to pancreatic cancer (just 6 months after diagnosis). Last year was the first and last time she was able to join me during my ride. After the loss of my mother, I am more driven to follow Tour de Pier’s mission to honor her and most importantly change outcomes for those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer going forward. I also ride in honor of my cousin who lost his battle to cancer at age 41. I ride to remember everyone who has lost their lives to cancer and in support of everyone who is currently battling cancer in hopes of a cure, so that my son will not have to live in a world where so many lives are lost to this disease.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me on May 19th for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, and most importantly remembering those we have lost and to support those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
