November 2010 the Rea family lost our rock "Big Tony" to pancreas cancer at 61, leaving behind a wife, two daughters and a son. He was an incredible father and friend to everyone that knew him, he was also a HUGE Yankees fan. This year our team "Bronx Bombers" is excited to be participating in the LA Pancreas Cancer Challenge at UCLA. The Hirshberg Foundation helps raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer. Together we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer.
We'd love for you to join our team for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. If you'd like to support us but can't make it (we will miss you), please consider contributing towards our fundraising efforts. No amount is too small! Together we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer.
