Help me take the LA Cancer Challenge!
Tanaz Akhlaghi and I met in 5th grade and became inseparable. Our parents used to joke that they didn’t understand how we didn’t get sick of each other. We spent more than 30 years as what I like to call “platonic soul mates”. Then came the heart-crushing diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and within a year, my beautiful, incredibly kind and special best friend was taken from us. In honor of my remarkable Tanaz, I'm participating in the LA Cancer Challenge 5K/10K Run/Walk! The LACC helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer.
