Hello friends and family. Welcome to my 7th year in the LA Cancer Challenge! This year will be a bit more of a challenge, as I am not able to run right now, but I'm still going to be trekking around UCLA for a cause that means so much to me. And, yes, I will still be in those "sexy" purple & black striped tights and tutu. Thousands of us will be taking on this endeavor. Each of us has our own specific opinion, our own reason, our own motivation for being there and for trying so hard to raise money for and awareness about pancreatic cancer. My reasons are my stepdad, my aunt, and the future. And they are all a very big deal. What are your reasons?
The LACC helps the Hirshberg Foundation raise money to fund research and programs designed to improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts. Or, if you'd like, you can join me on October 20th for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost, and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference in the battle against pancreatic cancer. I thank you with all of my heart...and my pancreas!
