Please join me Sun. Oct. 20 & honor Howard Kayton z"l
Dear Friends and Family,
Howard Kayton was my stepfather...
loving, kind, generous, selfless, intelligent, witty, fit and SO healthy and ...
...I MISS HIM.
His pancreatic cancer diagnosis was a bombshell at a routine physical in August 2010 and a year later he passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011. At times, these past eight years seem more like eight months.
I will participate with family and friends for the 8th time to honor Howard's character, valiant struggle and lifetime of service to others, and to help rid the world of this merciless disease at the:
22nd LA Cancer Challenge 5K Run/Walk
* Sunday, October 20, 2019 *
WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP!
It all happens on the UCLA campus! My family and friends walk/run together as:
(Geske, Winston, Especially Kayton Or Serber)
The walk around campus is invigorating! Please join our team for an hour or so, remember Howard's smile and goodness, and ALL those affected by pancreatic cancer.
If you can't, your financial support would be fantastic ~ any amount is meaningful and appreciated:
The LACC event funds the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and its programs which improve patient care, offer better treatment options and, ultimately seeks to cure pancreatic cancer.
YOU CAN HOPE, OR YOU CAN HELP!
