Marathoning for Mom

On September 27, 2017, my mom died of pancreatic cancer. Her cancer was so unexpected, I can't quite describe how shocked we were at her diagnosis.
It has been a year since her death and the survival rate for pancreatic cancer is still extraordinarily low. So on March 24, 2019 I will be running in the LA Marathon (from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica -- our two favorite places on Earth) as a part of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Research's Training Team.
I have committed to raise at least $1,000. But I'd love to raise $10,000. No one should have to suffer like my mom did. I hope you will come along on this journey with me and, if you can, donate in honor of my mom. Every dollar is a dollar closer to a cure.
