During our home meet against BMSW, the PCHM Sharks are raising funds in memory of Matt Huey, a beloved member of our team family who lost his fight with pancreatic cancer in September 2025.

Since joining the Sharks in 2021, the Huey family has been an important part of our community. Matt was always willing to lend a hand, whether he was installing starting blocks, serving as a tent parent, or officiating as a Stroke and Turn judge. His kindness, generosity, and servant's heart left a lasting mark on our team.

In Matt's memory, we are supporting the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The foundation funds groundbreaking research, provides education and resources for patients and families, and works tirelessly toward a future without pancreatic cancer.

We give because no family should have to experience the heartbreak the Huey family has endured. We give in support of every family facing this disease. Most of all, we give in hope: for better treatments, better outcomes, and one day, a cure.
