Pushing Back Against Pancreatic Cancer
On January 14, 2021, my Dad passed away from pancreatic cancer. In September of 2022, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We are cautiously optimistic they caught my mom’s cancer early enough, but she no doubt has a fight ahead of her. Her dad also died from pancreatic cancer before I was born. This devastating disease has impacted myself and my loved ones in so many ways. So I want to help get closer to a cure.
Please join me for a fundraiser on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 9:30-11:30 am for yoga followed by brunch, tequila mimosas, and AMAZING drawings from over 80 top businesses. This adult-only fundraiser will take place at Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N Lake Shore Drive (there is a parking lot across from the temple on Stratford Place). Pursuant to Temple Sholom’s Policy, you must be vaccinated to attend.
I am asking for donations of any amount you feel comfortable with. If you would like to attend the event, please email me at whitneygoldin@gmail.com so I can put that you’re registered. If you are unable to attend, donations are still encouraged to find a cure. Please invite your friends and bring your yoga mat. There will also be great items raffled off!
100% of proceeds go to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and providing support to pancreatic cancer patients and their families. All donations are tax-deductible.
